SMS Terms & Opt-In
Last updated: 2026-08-18
1. About This Page
Lumina is operated by BSCC (a Washington single-member LLC). Lumina provides booking and transactional customer communications for service businesses. This page describes how customers of those businesses opt in to SMS, what messages they receive, and how to stop them.
2. How You Opt In
You opt in to receive SMS from a business that uses Lumina by doing one of the following:
- Public booking page (web). Visit a Lumina-powered booking page (for example, https://demo-contractor.voxor.shop/book or any business’s tenant subdomain). Enter your name, phone number, and appointment details. The phone-number field is accompanied by a clearly visible disclosure block stating that submitting your number constitutes consent to receive transactional SMS, with full STOP / HELP / frequency / rates / privacy-policy language. Tapping the “Confirm Booking” button submits the form and is the affirmative opt-in moment.
- Front desk phone call. When a participating phone workflow offers a text confirmation, the assistant provides the transactional-message disclosure and asks for permission. A clear verbal “yes” is required before SMS is sent from that workflow. A “no” or unclear answer does not authorize SMS.
- Inbound SMS to a business. If you initiate the conversation by texting the business directly, your initial message constitutes opt-in for that business.
Lumina does not collect SMS consent through any other channel. Numbers are never bought, scraped, or imported from third-party lists.
3. What Messages You Receive
All messages are transactional. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS. Specifically you may receive:
- Appointment / booking confirmations
- Reminders before your appointment (typically 24 hours and 2 hours before; the schedule is configurable per business)
- Cancellation, rescheduling, and waitlist notifications
- Replies to inbound texts you send (e.g., shortcut replies like CANCEL, RESCHEDULE)
- Optional post-appointment review request, if the business has enabled that automation
Message frequency: Frequency depends on your appointment activity. Typically 3 to 5 messages per booking.
Carrier rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless plan. Lumina does not charge end customers for SMS.
4. STOP — How to Opt Out
You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After you reply STOP:
- Your number is unsubscribed from further messages from that business’s Lumina program.
- You will receive one final confirmation message acknowledging the opt-out.
- You will not receive any additional messages unless you opt back in.
To resume messages later, reply START or UNSTOP to the same number.
5. HELP — How to Get Help
Reply HELP to any message to receive support contact information. You can also email info@voxorai.com for SMS-program questions.
6. Privacy
We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your phone number or SMS consent records with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are used exclusively to deliver the transactional messages described above. Carrier delivery is handled by our SMS infrastructure provider (currently Telnyx) on our behalf.
For full details on how we collect, use, and retain personal information, see our Privacy Policy. For the terms governing your use of Lumina services, see our Terms of Service.
